Students learn traditional and contemporary repertoire, develop music theory skills, and deepen their understanding of the instrument’s cultural significance. Join our Spring Saturday Soccer Program designed for boys and girls ages 6–14 of all skill levels! This fun and engaging program focuses on skill development, teamwork, fitness, and confidence building in a supportive and positive environment. Players will learn fundamental soccer techniques, participate in drills and small-sided games, and enjoy friendly competition each week.

The Cultural Dance Program immerses youth in traditions from around the world, including Afro-Caribbean, Latin, and contemporary styles. Through movement, students build fitness, coordination, and self-discipline while deepening their appreciation for cultural expression. The program fosters creativity and heritage. Public performances and showcases let participants share talents and strengthen community bonds.

CASYM offers three main youth programs: the Steel Pan Program, the Academic/STEM Enrichment Program, and the Cultural Dance Program. Each is designed to promote discipline, creativity, and cultural pride through music, education, and performance.

Programs take place Fridays from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm for Steel Pan and Academic/STEM. Saturday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for Steel Pan, Dance, and Academic/STEM.

Classes are held at 330 Crown Street Brooklyn, NY 11225

Tuition is $25 per class or $185 per month for Steel Pan, $25 per class for Cultural Dance, and $25 per hour for Academic/STEM. Financial assistance may be available for families who qualify.

No experience is required. CASYM welcomes beginners as well as advanced students. Our instructors provide supportive, hands-on training tailored to each participant’s skill level and goals.

Our students gain more than artistic or academic skills—they develop confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Many participants have gone on to excel in college, careers, and community leadership roles.
